How to start

  1. Unzip nothing — just run it. Windows warns about an unknown app: More info, then Run anyway.
  2. Click Set client folder and pick an empty folder. Keep about 25 GB free.
  3. Press UPDATE. It fetches the game and every patch. Long, and only once.
  4. Press PLAY, and log in with the name and password from your invite.
  5. Pick Embercross from the realm list and make a character.
Already playing? This is the same launcher you already have — it updates itself, so there is nothing to do here.
